Mobile Route and Package Tracking

PointeWare's solution for courier companies performing routes is a full service product combining our Web Services and mobile phone application for real-time reporting on the life cycle of each package for each stop along a route. There are no large up front capital investment for servers or software as you manage everything from the web.

PointeRoute - Mobile Application

Couriers receive and send route updates with PointeRoute, a Java based application that currently runs on Nextel's i58, i88, i265, i275, i355, i605, i615 mobile phones. PointeRoute processes the work performed by each courier. All information and updates regarding a route is managed and communicated real time for you to view and report on. Equipped with the BC300 barcode scanner for the i355 entry is as simple as point, press, and scan.

Route Web Services

Manage route information for your clients, users, stops from PointeWare's Control Panel. Track and trace the results of every route and package that has been or is going through your business. Share only the data you want with role settings in User Manager.

Each route is a job with tasks built daily based on active routes, frequency, and stops for each route. Stops are set up in Route Manager and features deadlines for hubs, origination and destination planned pickup and delivery times, and courier assignments. As soon as routes are set up for a driver they are synced with the drivers mobile device. Routes can be re-assigned daily or permanently as needed.

Report Manager provides a real-time view to Route Status, Driver and Route Performance, and Customer Summary. Each report is based on the mobile data from PointeRoute and can be filtered by date, item, driver, route, and stop. Client's can be given on line access to their own route status report through User Manager. Driver performance provides a history for each assigned route with totals for on-time, late, early, and attempted. Route Performance highlights the results for each route and Customer Summary provides an overview of route performance for each Customer with exception reporting for stops and routes that missed a delivery dead line.
