PointeWare's mobile shipment tracking solution, PointeShip collects the House Bill tracking number and other related data for a shipment. You specify the type of data and integration requirements for tracking a shipment. The data can be passed into your database or monitored through PointeWare's Web Services.

Drivers use PointeShip on their mobile phone to update the state of a shipment. You define the states a driver performs for a shipment and other elements such as complete or not. If the driver's phone is equipped with a BC300 drivers scan tracking numbers and other reference barcodes for tracking, or manually enter the number. Shipment updates are then communicated to our Web Services for reporting. Simultaneously the data can be passed to your shipment management system. Examples of states are:
Shipment Web Services
Manage clients, users, and report on all mobile updates from PointeShip. Access to the Web Services is controlled through User Manager by setting the appropriate roles for each user. Clients and Users can be set up as company or independent (i.e. Cartage), each with their own reporting and access. Reports includes Tracking Number, Activity, Date and Time Stamp of Activity, Driver, OSD & Count, POD. Report data can be sorted, filtered, printed, or downloaded in a comma delimited file. Data collected includes counts for over, short, damaged, and comments.
